Introduction
RxReader strives to help the eldery and those with vision impairment to properly read, track, and understand their medication.
Key Features
Click the image to access our Figma prototype!

Scanner:
Currently, we can upload images into the application, that then translates the label into a readable language.

Medication Information Page:
This is where information about the medication
you scanned will pop up, to learn more about its effects and purpose.

Database:
There is a database holding information about your medications, that is used for the scheduling feature, along with to update your provider and pharmacy.

Scheduler (Figma Only):
This is not yet implemented into the react application, but in time we will be creating a scheduler feature that will track when the medication needs to be taken (time and date).

Healthcare Provider (Figma Only):
This is not yet implemented into the react application, but in time we will be creating a healthcare provider page to contact your physician about updating prescriptions, recent side effects, etc.

Audio Features (Figma Only):
In order to cater this to the elderly, we want to make the prescriptions more audible because currently all prescriptions come in the same orange bottle with small, hard to read text.

Using the github code from the linked repo, you can run the website application and scan your own prescriptions.
